The physician and botanist Adam Zalužanský from Zalužany: newly discovered sources

Recently, sources have been found in domestic and foreign archives and libraries that provide more detailed information about the medical studies and publishing efforts of Adam Zalužanský of Zalužany. His letter to Duke Henry Julius of Brunswick-Lüneburg, written during Zalužanský’s studies in Helmstedt in 1586–1587 (Forschungsbibliothek Gotha) and documents from the application for a printing privilege for all of Zalužanský’s scientific works (Haus-, Hof- und Staatsarchiv Wien) are attached in the appendix in the original Latin version and in its Czech translation.
