Abstract

The article is about the life, professional activity and contribution of the philosopher of natural sciences and the first female associate professor at the Faculty of Science of Charles University, Albína Dratvová. Drawing on archival materials, correspondence, and Dratvová’s personal diary, the paper aims to introduce the educator and public intellectual whose books and lectures influenced several generations of students, readers, and listeners.
